Fortinieres
Again what a great week, this will have been our third visit to Les Fantastic, and our second being the guest of Debbie and Paul. Each time we come back it has improved with the accommodation now being of the highest standard
FOR THE LAST FEW WEEKS I HAD BEEN COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS MAKING LAST MINUTE PREPARTIONS FOR OUR FIRST JAUNT OF THE YEAR TO FRANCE, MYSELF JOANNE AND OUR DAUGHTER ABBIE WOULD BE ACCOMPANIED WITH MY OLD FISHING PAL ALAN ALONG WITH HIS WIFE HELEN AND THEIR SON ZAK AND FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH US MICK, AS YOU CAN SEE THIS WASN'T JUST AN ORDINARY FISHING TRIP BUT A FAMILY HOLIDAY AS WELL . THAT'S THE BEAUTY OF LES FORTINIERES
To be honest over the last few years, Les Fortinieres hasn’t featured in my plans. and had somehow disappeared off my personal radar, that is until one of my angling friends, Graham Drewery, said that he had a week booked at Les Fortinieres, with his mate George Sinclair, and would I like to join them? It didn’t stop there, as one of my angling mates, Gary Burton, also had an invite, so we had a full party for a mid October trip.
Holiday Carping
The last time I fished Les Fortinieres myself and three mates caught well, and had a great time. So another trip seemed like a good idea, plus it would be a chance to meet Debbie and Paul the new owners.
