Both Paul and myself have been keen carp anglers for over 30 years, and like many of you our Dream was to own and run a carp fisherie. we have been luckey and our Dream has come true and we are now the proud owners of Fortinieres which we brought in June 2008, we have made some major improvements to both the lake and the accomodation, and these will be on going over the next few years, our priority though is the carp and there welfare,and the reason our rules and fish handling proceedure are in place to protect them from unneccasary stress, we have at least 5 50lb plus carp at this time, lots of 40plus & high 30's and hope to see our first 60lb soon, we will over the next few years also be adding large carp each year from local lakes, not stockies but wild un caught carp, and from the start of the 2011 season there will be no carp in the main lake under 30lb ,when you come to Fortinieres we want you to catch and we want you to have a great holiday, Hope to meet you soon
